October 16th is an official holiday in our home. Three years ago today we brought Zan home from the hospital after his 3 1/2 month, gut-wrenching stay there. It blows my mind on a daily basis to see how strong and healthy and "normal" he is now in light of his initial struggle to survive. God has blessed us with our miracle boy and I am in awe. I request you take a moment to thank God for Zander's life as well as lift up those babies and their families currently going through the NICU experience. It was hands down the hardest thing we have ever been through. One cool thing I realized lately, as we wait to adopt, is that all of our children (we eventually want three) will have Homecoming Days. But instead of a drive home from LA, our next baby will arrive home after an airplane ride from Memphis. Pretty exciting, if you ask me.

Praise God for Zander! Can't wait to see him :)
How exciting! Isaiah's homecoming day is the day before Zander's. It was five years ago on October 15th that he met Glenn for the first time in the terminal at John Wayne!
